[Astral plane.... Ogata feels tired. That sounds haunting and complicated. He's curious but in like, manageable amounts.

The weed coming from Wen Ning is... well it's just a tiny, weird little annoyance. But he does sit down by Anaido, though he keeps some level of distance between them, for now.]

What's it supposed to, exactly?

It's just the plane where ghosts and shit hang out on. Kinda. [ beau hums. ]

But - yeah, it's Wen Ning's stash, so it's safe. Basically what it does is chill you out. Makes things kind of floaty and nice? It's hard to feel upset when you're on it.

[ she digs a lighter out of her pocket. ] You wanna go first, Ogata? Or should Anaido?

So you can see ghosts with drugs? Wow...

[How bizarre. Must be some wild drugs. He nods at Beau's explanation, smirking over at Ogata.]

I'll go first. I want to pressure him a little.

[He winks at Beau. Inside joke? Probably.]

[A few weeks ago Beau's statement would have wigged Ogata out. Now he's just like "oh so like where Yin Yu came from." Perfectly fine and normal!!!

Anyway he squints at Anaido, feeling vaguely like he's being teased even though he doesn't fully understand it. But he just huffs and smoothes a hand over his hair.]

That's fine with me... But don't go making it sound like I'm afraid of something with effects like that.
[He would be afraid of the ghost one tho that sounds super not fun for him personally.]

[ That gets her to laugh, actually, the pressure joke. ]

I didn't say shit. [ beau says cheerfully, and she lights the joint and hands it to anaido. she trusts that he knows how to do this by now. ]

[Is he trying to emulate the teenage delinquints he might have seen on TV? Maybe. Anyways, smug, he reaches for the joint.]

Watch what I do, Ogata. [He holds it near his mouth, taking in a drag - he holds it for a second and then blows out slow. That's the stuff. He hands it over to Ogata.] Now you try.

[Ogata looks further irritated!!]

I already agreed to do it, so I don't know what you're talking about, Anaido.
[WHY IS HE TRYING TO BULLY. Ogata does not understand but it definitely makes him more determined. So he practically snatches the joint from Anaido's proferring hands. He doesn't need your help either!!

Sullen as he is, he takes far too heavy a drag on the join and ends up gagging and coughing like an idiot.]

[ beau has never seen an anti-drug commercial or tv show but she is endlessly amused at anaido trying to be a punk. she grins, settling back against the wall, and waits her turn. she should probably stay sober to wrangle these two nerds, but she will not. ]

Don't try to be cool, dude, just take it slow. [ beau says, cackling at ogata choking. ] You're not gonna get anything out of it if you cough it all out.

Take your time, military man. [Patting him lightly on the shoulder.] Like Beau said, the key to it is going slow, okay?

[Ogata coughs a little more, his face now red, eyes watering a bit. He looks like he wants to actually leave right now or at the very least stop existing in this situation.]

It's made differently from what I'm used to smoking, shut up.
[Voice still hoarse. from the coughing. But he makes a second attempt, with a little bit less gusto. This time he's able to copy Anaido's actions perfectly, though the redness on his face will take a moment to go down. In any case, he's handing it back to Anaido to give to Beau or whatever. He doesn't care!!]

[ ogata please you could just hand it to beau directly you dunkass.

she doesn't seem to mind that much, though. she takes it, and breathes in slow and steady, the way someone practiced might. she's done this a million times. absently: ]

You might wanna take another hit. Or maybe not. You're tiny, so.

[Yoink! Weed for him! He'll take another hit, blowing it out as if he's done this times before, except he hasn't, and he actually inhales too quickly after that and coughs a couple of time into his sleeve.]

Hm! Ah. [And a look towards Ogata.] How are you?

[You know, he was just going to sit and wait, but then Beau called him tiny, and Anaido asked how he was. Like he couldn't handle it. Wow!!!!]

I feel fine. I can do another. Worry about yourself.
[HOLDS HIS HAND OUT.]

[ anaido coughing gets beau to collapse into giggles. she's gone, goodbye, watching both of them try to be cool is hilarious ]

[He's just going to ignore Beau!!! Wow!!!! So rude. He's taking the joint, and takes another hit. Maybe he will regret this later, but he can't let Beau be right.

And he'll once again refuse to hand it directly to Beau.]

but she will take another hit herself, and then tug anaido closer so she can cuddle him. because she wants to. ]

Oh, I need to do three, Beau, three is a good number...

[And oh! He's being cuddled. That's fine. Anaido just rests his head against her, trying to reach for the joint in her hands.]

It's okay, Ogata, it just takes time! I told Beau that it was way too slow, myself.

[Yeah, without being directly pressured, Ogata isn't going to go for a third... especially since apparently it hasn't properly hit yet.

What he IS going to do, though, is glare directly at Beau. He KNOWS what you're doing and he knows YOU know. You bitch. He's trying to communicate this with simply a glare.]

It seems like a pretty terrible experience so far.

she's not going to go too hard, because this is a razor-thin wire of using anaido for her own purposes, which she doesn't want to do. she does want to cuddle, though. and anaido is good at letting her, so. she stretches out slightly. ]

[Yeah, he's going for another hit, which he is probably going to regret later. He exhales, before letting out a laugh.]

Ah, I can't believe I never did this at home. [He might be cuddling with Beau, but he's reaching out for Ogata with his free hand.] Come on! The weed feels better if we all touch, hahaha!

But ah, hm, Anaido is making a direct offer. A request even. That makes things easier for a tsun like Ogata. He does shoot Beau a slightly smug glance thought because unlike her he was ASKED for!!!]

[Nodding solemnly as he holds the joint back up to Beau. He has no idea where to put this. :(]

[Just a general reminder as he takes Anaido’s offer, scooting over to Anaido and settling up against Anaido’s arm. He’s not touching Beau but it’s hard to argue he isn’t closer. He shoots Beau a defiant look but then gets terribly distracted feeling the fabric of Anaido’s coat. Fascinating.]
