[Ogata coughs a little more, his face now red, eyes watering a bit. He looks like he wants to actually leave right now or at the very least stop existing in this situation.]

It's made differently from what I'm used to smoking, shut up.
[Voice still hoarse. from the coughing. But he makes a second attempt, with a little bit less gusto. This time he's able to copy Anaido's actions perfectly, though the redness on his face will take a moment to go down. In any case, he's handing it back to Anaido to give to Beau or whatever. He doesn't care!!]

she doesn't seem to mind that much, though. she takes it, and breathes in slow and steady, the way someone practiced might. she's done this a million times. absently: ]

[Yoink! Weed for him! He'll take another hit, blowing it out as if he's done this times before, except he hasn't, and he actually inhales too quickly after that and coughs a couple of time into his sleeve.]

[You know, he was just going to sit and wait, but then Beau called him tiny, and Anaido asked how he was. Like he couldn't handle it. Wow!!!!]

[ anaido coughing gets beau to collapse into giggles. she's gone, goodbye, watching both of them try to be cool is hilarious ]

[He's just going to ignore Beau!!! Wow!!!! So rude. He's taking the joint, and takes another hit. Maybe he will regret this later, but he can't let Beau be right.

And he'll once again refuse to hand it directly to Beau.]

[And oh! He's being cuddled. That's fine. Anaido just rests his head against her, trying to reach for the joint in her hands.]

[Yeah, without being directly pressured, Ogata isn't going to go for a third... especially since apparently it hasn't properly hit yet.

What he IS going to do, though, is glare directly at Beau. He KNOWS what you're doing and he knows YOU know. You bitch. He's trying to communicate this with simply a glare.]

It seems like a pretty terrible experience so far.

she's not going to go too hard, because this is a razor-thin wire of using anaido for her own purposes, which she doesn't want to do. she does want to cuddle, though. and anaido is good at letting her, so. she stretches out slightly. ]

[Yeah, he's going for another hit, which he is probably going to regret later. He exhales, before letting out a laugh.]

Ah, I can't believe I never did this at home. [He might be cuddling with Beau, but he's reaching out for Ogata with his free hand.] Come on! The weed feels better if we all touch, hahaha!

But ah, hm, Anaido is making a direct offer. A request even. That makes things easier for a tsun like Ogata. That said, all he's going to do is put his hand in Anaido's, which is certainly not what Anaido wanted but hey. He does shoot Beau a slightly smug glance thought because unlike her he was ASKED for!!!]

[ the smug glance gets a big, toothy grin from beau. it is not a happy grin. ]

He's not, actually. [ beau hums. ] Touch usually feels better, but if you get any closer to me I'll kick you.

Ogata, don't get close to Beau. She could probably kick your legs off. You have to respect her.

[Nodding solemnly as he holds the joint back up to Beau. He has no idea where to put this. :(]

I don’t know why you feel it necessary to warn me about Lionett’s physical abilities.
[He got a first hand demonstration when she murdered him.]

[Just a general reminder as he takes Anaido’s offer, scooting over to Anaido and settling up against Anaido’s arm. He’s not touching Beau but it’s hard to argue he isn’t closer. He shoots Beau a defiant look but then gets terribly distracted feeling the fabric of Anaido’s coat. Fascinating.]

[ she looks amused at the kick your legs off comment - and less so at the comment ogata makes. she takes the joint that anaido hands her and looks down at it for a second, eyes unfocused.

and then she brings the joint up to her lips and takes another slow drag. haha she's fine, she just won't answer! ]

[Even though he's shifted closer, Anaido leans further against Beau, shooting the other man a somewhat unamused look.]

I'm making a rule right now which is...no mention of murder! Especially not that thing between you two which I do remember, thanks. [He reaches out with his free hand and just. Knocks against Ogata's forehead three times before letting his hand fall back to Beau's knee, giving it a reassuring squeeze.] You're a very stupid cat. Say sorry to Beau that you brought it up. I want all of us to have fun.

[So it's like this, is it!!! he straightens up when Anaido leans away from him, and seems to shift further away with each tap on his forehead. When Anaido reprimands him, he just scowls and turns away, pulling his hand away from Anaido's before raising it to smooth over his hair.

It figures. Of course Anaido would take Beau's side. He spent more time with her. I am alone nobody care me.]

No. So you'll just have to make me leave.
[HMPH.]

[ beau hums. ]

Saw that one coming. [ she says idly, resting her hand on top of anaido's. she's okay. and she's not about to think too hard about what happened because she's not an asshole enough to get upset in front of the actual victim. she remembers what his face looked like, she's just, y'know.

carefully, she puts the joint out and settles down on the bed. ]

[Anaido frowns, looking between the both of them. Of course, its unfair to just tell them to move on. That's cruel. What they had to deal with was horrible. An execution, and the aftermath. A murderer, and a victim, and Anaido, stuck in the middle.]

[He makes a decisive nod. His head is already feeling a little hazy - he reaches for the hand on Ogata's head, pulling it in to give it a little kiss on the back of it.]

I don't want you to leave. Please. [And he turns back to Beau, picking up her hand and kissing it too.] And I don't want you to be upset. I want both of my friends to be happy. We're all here and alive. That's the best we can ask for.

[He smiles over at Ogata, clutching both his and Beau's hands in his.]

Besides, Ogata, if you leave, I will never get to tell you what Beau knows about who I really am. I want you both to know. It...feels strangely nice for you two to understand that.

[The best we can ask for? What's so great about being alive anyway? Overrated. Right now Ogata is really considering the merits of nonexistence.

Of course he's interested in what Anaido has to say. He's deeply curious. But he's also still very sullen, even with the hand kiss. Whatever!!! Like he cares!! He's looking away but he heard Anaido give Beau one too!!! He really has half a mind to storm off anyway, but he's starting to feel sort of dizzy so he won't... for now. But he's still not turning his head.]

Maybe I don't care to hear anything about someone who keeps calling me an idiot and expecting me to apologize to the person who killed me. Maybe I'm glad she feels bad about it and all the other murders she did.
[He has some valid points but why does he have to be a dick about it?]

[ she's also hazy, and the weed makes it difficult for her to really feel how bad she feels. which is probably a good thing. she smiles a little at the kiss to the back of her hand, expression softer. ]

He didn't ask you to apologize to me about the fuckin' murder itself, dude. He asked you to apologize for bringing it up while we're all here trying to get a buzz. [ she says lazily. ] It's fine. I don't care if he does or not, Anaido. I never expected anything from him.

[ she links her fingers through anaido's. mildly: ]

I do feel bad about the murders I did. Feels like it's rotting in me. Does that make you feel better, Ogata?

...I'm sorry I call you an idiot, Ogata. Sometimes you say things and I just want to shake you, because I don't want you to sabotage yourself. I don't want to see you hurt. And I just...want you to feel good. I won't call you an idiot again.

[He sighs and closes his eyes. The haze makes things better and worse at the same time.]

I don't want anyone to apologize or fight or anything over what happened before. Goodness knows I've done terrible things myself. [A short, almost bitter laugh.] I've killed people, too. But right now, right here, I want us to have a good time. Laugh. Enjoy this moment. You're my friends, okay?
