A mountain. You are strong-willed, and down-to-earth, and you stand your ground. To Lili's fire, you are her stability. To her drive, you are her anchor to lower in the times she rushes too far ahead. You dislike people by convention. You want them to naturally prove themselves to you, and ignore them when they don't, because you're a man who looks forward and does not wish to waste time on those who you feel will weigh you down.
People are naturally angry at you for you killing Dick, not realizing that they are getting angry at what we all would do- put our loved ones forward. Without you, Lili would be lost, so to you, I thank you for that. I worry about her, you know. So to see that she has a man like you behind her brings me a lot of relief.
[And a short bow of his head, a wide grin.]
Of course, you will disregard what I am saying, because you will think "I've barely talked to this man. I don't know him." But I see you through Lili's eyes. Perhaps its rose-colored glasses on her, but she loves you very much. And I in turn, respect you from afar, though we may never speak again. I'm not the principled, persuasive type anyways, so of course I don't serve much use to you.

That's true. My opinion doesn't do much. It doesn't change the world, or change how others see you. It's kind of like a butterfly, or a tree, or a random flower you saw. Just because you saw one doesn't mean it shouldn't exist, right?
